Dr. Emitis (Emi) Hosoda is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Degree in Molecular Biology from University of Texas at Austin. She received her Medical Degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. After an internship in OB/GYN at New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center, she completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dallas.

Doctor Emi’s love of science began early and she is an experienced researcher.

After graduating from residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Doctor Emi worked in private practice at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas where she combined a traditional internal medicine practice with one that focused on women’s health issues and peri-operative care of medically complex patients.While at Presbyterian Hospital, Doctor Emi was involved in developing Continuing Medical Education activities to address peri-operative guidelines. Doctor Emi currently maintains a busy private practice in internal medicine focusing on wellness and women’s health care, as well as working as a hospital care specialist (hospitalist) caring for acutely ill patients in a large medical organization in the Pacific Northwest.

As a board-certified doctor in internal medicine with post-graduate education in holistic health and functional medicine, Doctor Emi’s approach to healing is guided by her belief in the body’s ability to repair itself. She utilizes the full spectrum of integrative medicine, incorporating conventional, complementary, and allopathic therapies to help people achieve optimal health. Doctor Emi comes from a long lineage of respected physicians and considers it a privilege to serve in the same profession.  

In August of 2015, Doctor Emi was selected by the vote of other health professionals as one of the top internal medicine physicians in the Seattle area (Seattle Met Top Docs Award).
